Rowupdating and rowupdated about myself for dating site

Hi All, I am posting again a much discussed topic related to Row Updating and Row Updated events of a gridview. Even then, the "Update" link on the user control doesn't fire "Update event" when the APPLICATION is in View state [: O]... [^o)] But I wasn't sure that this update event was actually fired...This is because, I haven't found any solution that matches my problem, even though many of them are on the same lines. When the application was in the Edit state, I accidentally clicked on the "Update" button in my user control... so I clicked on Edit button and then clicked on the Update button (all the while my application was in the Edit state only) and the "Update events" was raised mysteriously!I just can't help pulling my hairs out and turning into a complete bald because of this strange problem.... The following example shows how to use both the Row Updating and Row Updated events. Sql Command command Type=2 status=0) The Row Updated event returns this output: event args: (command=System. Row Updated, Address Of On Row Updated ' update, this operation fires two events '(Row Updating/Row Updated) per changed row adapter. Can javascript be the reason for such a strange behaviour???If anybody has an answer for this strange problem, please mail me or reply to this post... the Update button had gone on strike and wasn't raising the Update events for sometime even when the application was in the Edit state. The application was in THE EDIT STATE but still NO UPDATE Events when UPDATE BUTTON WAS FIRED.After searching long and hard I found a great article that solved my issue.Take a look at the page load if you are binding on post back then the values get updated before you are able to access them.

Get Command Line Args()) End Sub Overloads Public Shared Function Main(args() As String) As Integer Const connection String As String = _ "Integrated Security=SSPI;database=Northwind;server=MSSQL1" Const query String As String = "SELECT * FROMProducts" ' create Data Adapter Dim adapter As New Sql Data Adapter(query String, connection String) Dim builder As Sql Command Builder = New Sql Command Builder(adapter) ' Create and fill Data Set (select only first 5 rows) Dim data Set As New Data Set() adapter. When I use my user control in an or in an file, Row Updating and the Row Updated events are not at all fired. My user control inherits from "Web Control" and NOT from Grid View PS. I repeated this multiple times and each and everytime I amused myself by seeing the Update button work even without doing anything! And because of this I am unable to update the data. This XML file is converted into a data table and then is bound to the grid view. There are mutliple update panels in the parent files and files in which this user control is being used. I am a happy man now that my user control is working...The Row Updating event returns this output: event args: (command=System. Update(data Set, "Table") ' remove handlers Remove Handler adapter.
