I have created a macro for management to update their Metrics Dashboard on Startup, but the VBA process takes a few minutes, so I wanted to display a message letting them know the workbook is still updating.
It has been over 5 minutes and nothing has happened. EDIT: Using Windows 7 Home Premium, updating to the latest version right now. When you go on to install or uninstall any program on your Windows PC, then the Windows operating system will install or uninstall only one program at a time – and for doing this, it uses the Windows Installer process.Windows Installer is a system process that is used for installation, repair, maintenance, and uninstallation of any software. You can make a User Form in less then 15 Minutes and it can be used over and over with any script. Back Color = RGB(255, 0, 0) Or assign a picture to your User Form Background End Sub While the value of 0, which is what False evaluates to as a numeric value, does do what you want it to, False is not the most descriptive way to specify that 0 value... more descriptive and self-documenting would be to use the built-in constant Microsoft created for use with the Show method... So, I would write the above line like thi User Form1. Color = RGB(255, i * 12, 50) Set Window Text Static Hwnd, s Prompt Do Events Sleep 1000 Next Call Send Message(Msg Box Hwnd, WM_CLOSE, 0, By Val 0&) Msg Box "done" .
Strangely enough it said that I reserved my upgrade on Windows Update, though that notification's gone now.
