Updating to 1 1 3 on a jailbreak iphone
While all eyes might be on the next beta release for i OS 13, Apple is still pumping out updates for i OS 12.Today, the company released i OS 12.4.1, the first update since i OS 12.4.With Pwn20wnd actively working on Cydia and Substitute support for A12(X) devices in unc0ver, we can assure you that the wait will be worth it. Apple today released i OS 12.4.1, a minor update that comes one month after the launch of i OS 12.4.The i OS 12.3 update patched it, but 12.4 took it back.If you have no intention of jailbreaking, you can update without worry. It’s worth noting, however, that i OS 12.4 is still being signed at the time of this writing, and with that in mind, jailbreakers still have options…Jailbreakers and those aspiring to jailbreak their device(s) anytime in the near future are advised to do three important things right now: Apple doesn’t want people jailbreaking their i OS devices, and with that in mind, the signing window for i OS 12.4 is sure to be a short one. With that in mind, we advise anyone with an interest in jailbreaking to follow the steps above sooner rather than later to ensure your jailbreak eligibility.
Available for: i Phone 5s and later, i Pad Air and later, and i Pod touch 6th generation Impact: A malicious application may be able to execute arbitrary code with system privileges Description: A use after free issue was addressed with improved memory management.
According to Apple's release notes, the update includes "important security and stability updates" and is recommended for all users.
This is the first time in years that it has been possible to jailbreak the latest publicly available i OS release.
You don’t even need access to a computer for the entire process.
Do note that while it is possible to jailbreak i OS 12.4 using Unc0ver, it does not support jailbreaking i OS 12.3.
